Alexz Renteria has worked in the entertainment industry for over a decade. She began her career making indie horror films with her college professor, Julian Grant (SWEET LEAF & ARKHAM SANITARIUM: SOUL EATER), and has since worked at several production companies, including Blumhouse Productions, Gunpowder & Sky, Warrior Poets, and The Cinemart. Her credits include director’s assistant and production coordinator on Netflix’s "The Pharmacist," Hulu’s "Fyre Fraud," Paramount Network’s "The Trayvon Martin Story," and Blumhouse’s SINISTER 2. She is also a former co-host of the Ghoul Chat podcast.Alexz currently works as an associate producer at Key To The City Productions in New York City and is writing and developing multiple original projects across film and television, as well as a memoir and a poetry collection.She was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and holds a BA in Cinema Art + Science with a minor in Arts Management from Columbia College Chicago.
